Meet the Owners and Hear the Stories

One of the things that sets a classic car show apart from simply looking at photographs online is the people behind the vehicles. At this event, the owners will be right there alongside their cars, and they are invariably some of the most passionate and knowledgeable people you’ll ever have a conversation with.

Take the time to ask questions, hear the history behind individual vehicles and find out what goes into maintaining and restoring a classic car to its former glory. The community spirit at events like this is genuinely special, and there’s no better way to connect with fellow enthusiasts than standing side by side in front of a beautifully restored motor.

If you happen to own a classic car yourself, this is also a brilliant opportunity to swap restoration tips and share stories of drives across the Dorset countryside and coastline.

Make a Day of It at Brewery Square

The Classic Car Show is a fantastic reason to spend the bank holiday in Dorchester, but Brewery Square has plenty more to offer once you’ve soaked up the automotive splendour. Brewery Square is home to a wonderful selection of restaurants covering a range of cuisines, from French and Italian to Asian-inspired menus, making it an ideal spot to sit down and refuel after an afternoon of exploring.
