Dorchester Cider Festival 2025 Highlights

On Saturday 16th August 2025, Dorchester’s Borough Garden was buzzing as the Dorchester Round Table Cider Festival rolled back into town – and what a day it was! Sunshine, scrumpy, live music and a whole lot of happy faces made this year’s festival one to remember.

Sip, Savour, Celebrate

From fruity blends to traditional scrumpy, the region’s best cider makers were out in force, serving up pint after pint of liquid sunshine. And if cider wasn’t your thing, there was plenty more on tap – cocktails, soft drinks and tasty local food to keep everyone fuelled.

Music, Laughter & Dancing on the Grass

The atmosphere was electric with two stages of live music keeping the gardens rocking all afternoon and into the night. On the main Bandstand Stage, festival-goers were treated to brilliant performances from the soulful Nina Garcia and The Shakespearos. Two high-energy sets from local favourites The Skimmity Hitchers, who brought their usual cider-soaked chaos, while Stillyano had the crowds rocking into the late afternoon sunshine.

Think of it as Dorset’s very own mini Woodstock – but with more Dorset accents, more laughs and definitely more cider!

A Festival with Heart

Best of all? Entry was completely free. The festival, organised by the Dorchester Round Table, raised money for local charities – so every pint pulled and every tune played helped make a difference.

Whether you came for the cider, the music, or just the atmosphere, the Dorchester Cider Festival 2025 proved once again why it’s one of the town’s favourite summer events. Here’s to next year – same place, same vibe, and (hopefully) the same sunshine!
