Under The Sun Festival

A truly unique experience arrives in Dorchester this Easter with Helios, a striking large-scale artwork by UK artist Luke Jerram. Measuring seven metres in diameter, this illuminated installation offers a detailed view of the Sun’s surface, paired with an immersive surround sound composition that fills the space.

Right at Dorchester Arts, Helios creates a calm yet captivating environment that invites visitors of all ages to pause, look up and take it all in. It is both educational and atmospheric, making it a great option for families looking for something a little different.

Pick up your map from the Concierge Office and set off on a trail around the Square, searching for the Bunny’s missing eggs hidden in shop windows. It is a simple and enjoyable way to explore the area, keeping little ones entertained as you go.

Running throughout Easter weekend, this activity is perfect for burning off some energy before the chocolate treats begin. Once you have found all the eggs, head back to collect a small reward to round off the experience.
