Easter Egg Hunt at Antelope Walk
Tuesday 1st April – Monday 14th April
The Easter bunny has paid a special visit to Antelope Walk this Easter to bring you the ultimate Easter egg hunt in the heart of Dorchester Town Centre. Eggs have been scattered across the shops in the independent shopping arcade and they need your help locating where they are.
Pick up your free map in United Artisans and go on the hunt to find all 15 eggs hidden throughout the shops in Dorchester’s shopping arcade. If you find them all, you’ll receive a special treat for helping to find all the eggs.
Easter Fun in Brewery Square
Tuesday 8th April – 19th April
Hop into Easter Fun at Brewery Square! Get ready for an egg-citing week of FREE family activities, such as Easter crafts, a magical bubble display, face painting and more!
Who knows… you might even spot Peter Rabbit hopping around.

Easter Egg Trail at Thorncombe Wood
Friday 4th April – Thursday 17th April
Whose egg is this?! Join Thorncombe Wood for a trail of education and discovery to search for various eggs and learn more about the species they belong to. Follow the map along the pink and blue routes to search for wooden discs highlighting the many different types of eggs which can be found across the reserve.
Easter Egg Hunt at St. Mary’s Church
Monday 7th April 2pm – 3pm
Eggs are hidden around St. Mary’s Church, waiting to be found this Easter! Join the hunt and email the team at dorchesterstmarys@gmail.com to take part in the Easter fun.
Easter Egg Rolling at The Great Field, Poundbury
Monday 21st April 10 – 12pm
Do you think you have what it takes to create an egg that wins the ultimate egg-rolling contest? Then take part in the egg rolling competition to see if your egg can roll the furthest down The Great Field’s slope!
Come prepared with your decorated egg and take part in the ultimate competition to see whose egg has what it takes to win the race! Prizes will be awarded for the best decorated egg and the furthest rolled.

Dorchester Roman Festival at Maumbury Rings
Friday 11th – Sunday 13th AprilFascinated by the Roman era and want to become immersed into training like a gladiator? Maumbury Rings is hosting an exciting new free festival where you can train like a gladiator, witness gladiator fighting, make mosaics, take part in Roman ceremonies, march with Roman soldiers, see real Roman finds and interact with Roman Living Historians.

Poundbury Easter Market
Sunday 20th April 10am – 3pm
Discover new local suppliers and talent by checking out the local Poundbury Easter Market. Here there will be a range of local sellers, showcasing many locally produced and crafted items from sweet bakery treats to festive handmade Easter ornaments.
