Brewery Square Christmas Event
Friday, November 27th, 2015The countdown to Christmas in Dorchester 2015 has officially begun – and it all looks set to be fantastic week of celebrations starting this weekend in Brewery Square and then the OFFICIAL start to Christmas in Dorchester with Cracker Night.
Kicking off the festivities is the Christmas Lights Switch on Event and Skating in the Square launch at Brewery Square on Saturday 28th from 5pm.
The Brewery Square Christmas lights will be switched on at 5.30pm which will be followed by live music and surprise performances. We will also see the return of the Anonymous Travelling Market where you will be able to buy local crafts and delicious street food to get you in the festive mood. If previous Christmas events at Brewery Square are anything to go by it will be very well attended – so arrive early to secure your space.
Brewery Square Christmas Itinerary:-
Saturday 28th November. Brewery Square, Dorchester DT1 1QR.
- 5pm: The Anonymous Travelling Market Opens
- 5.30pm: The Christmas Lights Switch-On Event: Live Music & Surprise Performances, Sweet Hut: Mulled Wine, Hot Chocolate, Mince Pies & Ginger Bread Men.
- 6pm: Skating-in-the-Square Opens

- 600+ parking spaces in Weymouth Avenue, opposite the Odeon Cinema.
Skating in the Square runs from Saturday November 28th to New Years Eve and you can book your tickets online at http://skatinginthesquare.co.uk/ Prices are £5 for both children and adults – skating aid penguins are available free of charge for small children to use.
Don’t forget the Christmas fun doesn’t stop here…. Dorchester’s Christmas Cracker, the OFFICIAL start to Christmas in Dorchester begins at 5.30pm on Thursday 3rd December.
