Dorchester Business Connection ExhibitionWednesday, September 14th, 2011
We all know that good business involves cooperation and networking, to enable you to get the help, advice and support you need to keep your business moving in the right direction. DBID is always looking for ways to help bring Dorchester businesses together in an interesting and useful way, and next month we will be supporting an event that aims to do exactly that.
Business Connections Dorset is a company set up to promote interaction and trade between businesses, and is run by Simon Marfell, who has already successfully put on similar initiatives in Weymouth in the past. In the coming months he will be organising seminars, exhibitions and other marketing events throughout Dorset.
Dorchester Business Exhibition
The first Business Connections exhibition will be held here in Dorchester, and the focus will be specifically on helping Dorchester businesses. The location will be the Dorford Centre by the Top o’ Town roundabout and the date will be October 14th.
To help you out with the costs, DBID will be offering a 25% subsidy to any BID members who sign up for the exhibition. We’ll be there too, so if you have anything BID-related on your mind you’d like to discuss with us, the exhibition will be a good informal opportunity to do so.
Wessex FM, the View From newspapers and the Dorchester Chamber of Commerce are all on board as well as ourselves, so we’re confident the exhibition will be a great success and a fantastic showcase for the town’s business.
Entry is free for all visitors who aren’t exhibiting, and the event will run from 11am until 5pm. If you would like to exhibit, contact Simon Marfell at firstname.lastname@example.org for details. Stands are allocated on a first come first served basis, so book your place now to avoid missing out.
