Wednesday, July 10th, 2019Dorchester Supersleuth picture clue competition gets underway on Friday 12th July 2019. The theme this year is Adventures in Space & Pioneers of Flight, which coincides nicely with the 50th anniversary of the first landing on the moon. Start your supersleuth mission now!

Dorchester Supersleuth
The increasingly popular Dorchester Supersleuth is a picture clue competition with 120 businesses in the town involved. Look out for the numbered A4 card displayed in the windows of the participating shops.
Using a combination of detective skills and research to look for the visual clues and questions, Supersleuth’ers pop into the business to collect a miniature sticker for their sticker album. These are available at the Tourist Information Centre within the library in Charles Street car park. When all stickers have all been collected, drop the completed sticker albums into the Dorchester BID office by 9th September.
Start researching
Some of the question categories for Dorchester Supersleuth 2019 are the solar system, astronauts, constellations, space films, pre-flight pioneers and many more. The NASA website is a great source for research, or use the Dorchester library. Download the question sheet here.

Super prizes on offer
There are some great prize vouchers up for grabs this year in both age categories (10 & under, 11-16 years) they are 1st £80, 2nd £50 and 3rd £25. All shopping vouchers are to spend in Dorchester shops of your choice. A draw of the correct answer sheets takes place to randomly select the lucky winners. If nobody has 100% correct then the entries with the most correct answers will win.
Shop displays
We’ve seen some fantastic space-themed shop displays already this year. Here’s a great example from SKJ Watches on Trinity Street. Use the hashtag #DorchSuperSleuth if you spot a great display.
