News from Brewery Square
Thursday, August 9th, 2012
It’s been a while since we checked in on what’s been going on at the Brewery Square site, so this week’s blog is a brief update on the latest news from the development.
Phase Eight Comes To Brewery Square
The latest business to join Brewery Square is Phase Eight, the high-end fashion retailer with stores across the UK including on London’s Oxford Street. With a reputation for quality, style and originality, Phase Eight will be bringing exclusive designs for all ages to their Dorchester store.
The new store will be situated in the Screen on the Square building, which will also be home to the new 3 screen Odeon cinema. The 1,600 square foot unit will have a prime location overlooking the fountains in the centre of the square.
Part Two of Development Nearly Complete
Phase 2A of the Brewery Square is coming together fantastically well, and is on schedule to open this November. It will include 66 apartments, 16 retailers, 7 restaurants, a hotel and the new cinema.
As well as Phase Eight, there will be several other big names among those opening their doors in November, including Hobbs, Pizza Express and Wagamama. We should also get to see the centerpiece of the square, the multi-jet fountains, up and running in time for the phase 2A opening.
Keep an eye on the Brewery Square website for more updates on the project, and to see the residential and commercial units still available on the Square.
Thanks for this very positive piece; much appreciated.
We look forward to welcoming Dorchester and beyond to the scheme!
The opening date will be announced shortly, including the date for the new show apartment. As a precursor to that it is likely that Dray Horse Yard, on Weymouth Avenue opposite the market, will open before the main square.
With 56 apartments pre-sold off-plan in the current construction phase, there are 10 apartments remaining. The project has Savills most successful off-plan sales of any scheme outside London.
