Super Sleuth Competition 2017 – Winners and Answers

Thursday, October 12th, 2017

The 2017 Super Sleuth has now competition closed. We have been bowled over with the number of entries in to this year’s competition. We hope everyone who took part enjoyed it as much as we did putting together the competition and clues.

This year saw a growing number of youngsters sleuthing around Dorchester looking for the shops and businesses that matched the thumbnail images contained in the photo clue sheet. These included part of the business logo, a standout feature and part of the building architecture.

Dorchester BID Manager Phil Gordon, who organised the competition said  “There is now a whole new generation of local youngsters that are much more familiar with the fantastic array of shops we have in Dorchester. Whilst having fun completing the competition they have learnt more about the businesses that we have in the county town.”

He went on to mention “The participating shops have again found several new faces who now know they exist in town and what they have on offer too. The feedback from parents, grandparents and the kids themselves has been wonderful! A massive congratulations to everyone who took part – with 120 clues to find this year’s competition was no mean feat.”

Winners received vouchers to spend in Dorch shops.
