Dorchester Town Crier, Alistair Chisholm has done it again. For the third time in a row, our very own local Town Crier has seen off the competition at the National Town Criers Challenge Cup in Hastings and romped home in 1st place.
The flambouyant town crier lifted the crown for the third time in a row and has now won the coveted award an amazing seven times.

The 2009 Dorchester Christmas Cracker is being held on Wednesday 2nd december starting at 5pm.
The annual late night shopping event organised by the Dorchester Chamber of Commerce will be celebrating a theme of “A Traditional Christmas”

It is half-term again for school children of Dorchester and there is plenty of things for your kids to do next week.
Dorchester Arts are running a week long set of workshops from Monday, 26th October 2009 through to Friday, 30th October 2009 covering a variety of subjects. With it being so close to Halloween they will be running a Zombie theme which will certainly get your kids in the “witching mood”.
