Dorchester Supersleuth 2026 – Flags of World Cup teams & Commonwealth Nations

 Summer Dorchester Supersleuth Competition 2026

This year our Supersleuth competition is all about flags from the Commonwealth & countries competing in the FIFA World Cup. Your mission is to ‘sleuth’ around the town, hunting for flags in shop windows, collecting your mini flag stickers and then research to find the country that the flag belongs too.

You can find your FREE sticker album in the Library, Shire Hall and in the lobby of 49 High West Street

When you spot a flag, please pop in, wait if busy, and politely ask if you can have a miniature flag sticker. Each flag is numbered so please stick the sticker in the box with the same number in your mission report. Once you are home and have researched the flag, write the name of the country under the miniature sticker on the dotted line. That is all you that have to do!

GREAT PRIZES ON OFFER: Those agents who complete their mission successfully will go into a prize draw. There will be two lots of 1st, 2nd & 3rd prizes (for 10yrs & under, one for 11-16yrs). The prizes (£80, £50 & £25) will be vouchers to spend in Dorchester shops but last year some shops topped up the prize fund too so it could be more! Everyone who submits an entry will get a small consolation prize.

Return your entry to DBID, 2nd floor, 49 High West Street (above Temple Hill Letting Agents) no later than Monday the 7th of September. Make sure you write your name and address detail below – otherwise we won’t be able to let you know if you win!

Some Supersleuthers use social media to help each other with clues too which was great fun and you can even make up your own cryptic clues to share with your friends if you like – We love that too!
