Register (levy payers)
Sign up for Dorchester businesses
Who can register?
If you own or are running a business in the BID area (qualifying businesses have a rateable value of £3K or more) you are entitled to register and will also have voting rights (5 votes per month per business) when it comes to selecting future projects for inclusion in the DBID plan.
If you are a landlord, or your business does not qualify for paying the levy but you would like to be included in the growing number of voluntary contributors who have already seen the potential benefits of the DBID project to Dorchester and their business, then please contact Phil Gordon at the DBID office on 07799 494886 for full information.
Register your business
Why should you register?
By registering your business and agreeing to receive email communications you will help us keep as much of your bid levy to spend on projects as possible (one mailing can easily cost us £300 in printing, stationary and postage and these soon add up!). You will also be making sure that you get to hear the latest news, ideas and DBID developments as well as be nearer the front of the queue when we have limited special offers such as subsidised adverting, training or promotional opportunities.
An immediate benefit will be early inclusion on our official Dorchester website where you can have your own page complete with a photo of your business (inside or out), a location map, a link to your own website and even 10 search engine keywords, “dorchwords”, that will help people to be directed to you when they type in a word into our on-site search feature. The best thing of all is that as a DBID partner, it will not cost you an additional penny!
Please register today – help us to help your business to flourish and to start benefitting from one of the most exciting and significant initiatives seen in Dorchester for decades.
The only purpose of having your email address is so that we can inform you of BID initiatives and projects, updates and to inform you about things happening in town. The DBID will not share your personal data with any third party companies, we hold it purely for our contact purposes to keep you informed and improve communications between the DBID and your company. If at any time you wish to stop receiving emails from DBID you can reply with ‘unsubscribe’ in the subject box at any time and we will remove you from our mailing list.
